Hello,

I am writing to inform you of the death of my father James Firth.  I know he was in 10th Royal Hussars and I know he went to one of your reunion dinners in October 1996.  He would have loved to have gone to them all but over the years he got more and more poorly and sadly fell asleep peacefully on 17th August 2008.

I am not exactly sure when he served with the 10th or for how long.  Do you or any of your members have any stories or information on my father, I would be very grateful for any information.

I have enclosed two photo's of my dad looking very smart and proud.

Yours hopefully
Dianne Wardle

A couple of days ago I received another email from Dianne with the 3rd and 4th pictures above. They are photos of her grandfather who she thinks was also in the Hussars.Does anyone recognise the uniform? I do not know if it is a Hussars uniform. She also asked if there is a museum for the 10th Hussars,I gave her the address, phone number and opening times of Winchester so she may find some answer there.
