             Good to hear from you,I never realised until yesterday, I joined the army in nov 1949 1420 KH at catterick. After basic trng I was drafted to the 10th in March 1950 ,I served until Oct 51 in Iserlohn with 2trp C Sqdn ,and left with the exalted rank of tpr, my trp sgt was Jim Derrick and the trp officer was Piers Bengough who I believe died.
   I was interested and sad to read about Topper Brown I did nt know well ,but I remember he was the Cpl ic stables and treated me fair when I did stable fatigues ,I drove a Comet  for my duration ,and did the same for the 3 yrs with the Westminster Dragoons
     I now live in mijas costa del sol .I hope this is of some interest to you . 964  Tpr L. North
